flight data
Everything measured on the SQ9GOL flights, free to download and use. One CSV per flight: every telemetry fix with position, height, temperature, battery and speed, plus the sun's elevation at the balloon, the planetary Kp index (GFZ Potsdam) and the GOES X-ray flux at that minute. Updated every 6 hours while a balloon flies.
Flights

Columns
| time_utc | Time of the telemetry slot (UTC). WSPR frames are 2 minutes long; position and data come from the U4B/Traquito telemetry frame paired with the plain callsign frame. |
| lat, lon, locator6 | Position from the 6-character Maidenhead locator (resolution about 5 × 2.5 km); lat/lon are the centre of that square. |
| altitude_m | GPS altitude, 20 m steps (U4B encoding). |
| temperature_c, battery_v | Tracker temperature (sensor on the microcontroller) and supply voltage, as encoded in the telemetry. |
| speed_kmh | GPS ground speed (encoded in 2-knot steps). |
| receivers | Number of WSPR stations that decoded the telemetry frame. |
| sun_elevation_deg | Sun's elevation at the balloon, computed (NOAA algorithm, ±0.5°). |
| kp | Planetary Kp index for that 3-hour interval (GFZ Potsdam). |
| goes_xray_0.1-0.8nm_w_m2 | GOES X-ray flux 0.1–0.8 nm, 1-minute (NOAA SWPC, archived by the SQ9GOL server since 4 Oct 2026; empty before). |
| status | uploaded = sent to SondeHub; ground = filtered as a ground test; other values = rejected by a sanity check. |
